From July 2005 compulsory Australian Government regulations require that the transfer and movement of cattle be reported to the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) database. NLIS is managed by Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA), and records the movement of cattle across Australia, and the world, enabling reporting, quick response if required (eg by outbreak of a condition or disease), and helping to reduce cattle theft. Different regulations and reporting requirements exist for Saleyards, Agents and Producers. CATTLESCAN is proud to supply a one stop service to ensure that your compulsory reporting requirements are handled quickly and reliably. We recognise that you are in the business of Cattle not Information Technology. CATTLESCAN uses a combination of proprietory software and onsite represenatatives to ensure that cattle are scanned and the NLIS requirements are adhered to. We will guarantee that your compliance needs are met. Agents, Saleyard Operators and Producers looking for cost effective solutions for NLIS Cattle scanning should contact us by eMail or phone. We are only too happy to help.
